March 18, 2020, the federal government announced their COVID-19 Economic Response Plan. A couple of items we want to draw to your attention include:
1 - The extension of the personal tax filing deadline to June 1, 2020.*
2 - Both corporate and personal taxpayers will be allowed to defer the payment of income tax amounts owing until September 1, 2020.
